Missing Lady Southern Cross— Search from Singapore—Melrose To Join Flying Boats. (Received 3.45 p.m.) SINGAPORE, November ». The Australian airman, Mr. C. J. Melrose, has departed to join the flying boats which left here at dawn to-day to search for Sir Charles Kingsford Smith and his co-pilot. Mr. T. Pethybridge, who are long overdue from Allahabad on their flight from England to Australia. When Mr. Melrose left here no news had been received of the missing 'plane, Lady .Southern Cross.
