OUR COMPETITION CORNER

Our competition this week combines two very popular pastimes-—jig-saw puzzles and painting. It is quite an easy competition too, yet one that requires a little skill. First cut out the thirty little squares and fi£ them together to form a picture.

When you have fixed them all into the right places, paste them on to a sheet of paper, then colour the completed picture and send it to Peter Pan, care "Star" Office, Shortland Street, before Saturday next, when eight prizes of half-a-crown each will be awarded for the best pictures.
