NEVESVILLE REEF. ANOTHER GOOD RETURN. ! (By Telegraph.—Special to "Star.") THAMES, this day. Another bar of sold weighing 520z, the result <>r four days' erushiuK of ore from the new M.B.A. reef, on Mr. Martin Grace's claim at Novosville, from which an original return of 120oss was reported last week, was brought to the Thames "Star" office this morning. The {told is stated lo have been obtained from a crushing of 10 tons. The roof has hoon driven a further 12ft. Rich ore is still Showing. Mr. Grace lias received numerous inquiries regarding the claim a.s the result of the publication of details. The lnltfel return was approximately £000.
WORKSOP EXTENDED. DIVIDEND 10 PER CENT. The directors of Worksop Extended have declared a dividend (the fourth) of 10 per cent, payable on November 1-1. This nuilces a total of 40 per cent on capital invested which hae been paid to shareholders since dredging operations commenced in August, 1934. BLACKWATER MINES. OCTOBER RETURNS. The- following report has been receive'! from the TUaekwater Minos Company covering operations for the month of October:— Crushed 41 r>o tone, yielding 1691 fine ounces of gold from all sources, the value of which, taking gohl ,-u 141/ per fine ounce, was £11,022, Working expenses were £6108, leaving a working profit of f>724. Development expenditure was £55-0 and capital £4513. Development Work.—Xo. 12 level: The winze at 2H3flft north was sunk D3ft during the month, of which M'llft was on main reef, which averaged 2liu wide and 12Jdwt value. Xu. Ki level: The crosscut (o'this level was extended :!.".ft. making a total of 48ft, Including: the chamber.
