AKARANA YACHT CLUB.

RACE TO MATIATIA. The Akarana Yacht Club will hold two races to Matiatia to-morrow afternoon. The first is for centre-board boats 20ft and over and the other for keel yachts. The handicaps will be sealed. The entries are:—Centre-board yachts, to start at 2.30 p.m. Course: From starting line off clubhouse direct to Matiatia, finishing between mark boat and southern point of bay, 11 miles. Entries: Calypso, Mona, Marika, Wayward. Keel yachts, to start at 2.38 p.m. Course, same as first race. Entries: lona, Peri, Alexa, Roiaata, Maybelle, Vanitie, Yaldora, Pandora.

Naval whalers, to start at 2.54 p.m. Course: From starting line off clubhouse, round Sandspit, Bastion, Resolution and Sandspit- marks on starboard, finishing at starting line. Post entries. The starting line for the three races is between launch Octavia S. and mark moored north.
