FANCY DRESS DANCE.

ONEHUNGA R.S.A. ' The 21st Battery Drill Hall was a blaze of light and colour when tho Onehunga and district R.S.A. held a plain and fancy dress dance in aid of the children's picnic fund. Prizes were presented by Mrs. Warrington to tho following:—Most original, Mrs. Hollings and partner (Darby and Joan), Mrs. Bennett and Mrs. Williams (Father Time and partner); lady's fancy, Miss Milbanks (Spanish senorita), Mrs. Bingley (golliwog); gentlemen's fancy, Mr. Hollings (skeleton), Mr. Lovo

(D.0.R.A.); children, Miss Woolf (sailor and bride), Miss O. Thorpe (Countes3 Du Barry); baby of the parade, Miss Jean Douglas (gipsy). Winners of Monte Carlos: Mrs. Buckley and Mr. MeQuoid, Mrs. Williams and Miss Bennett. Spot waltz: Mrs. Petherbridge, Mrs. Miller and Miss Woolf. Mr. Buckley made an efficient master of ceremonies.
