CHILD'S EYE INJURED.
While playing with a pair of scissors yesterday, a three-year-old child, Colin William James Gordon, the son of Mr. William Gordon, farmer, of Awa-awa-roa Bay, Waiheke Island, .injured his right eye. The child was brought by launch to the city and taken to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is not serious, and he will not lose the sight of his eye.
