V/ar Paint Annexes Cup—Sprint to Wee Machine— A Double to Young Rodney. ..

Fine weather prevailed for the annual meeting of the Thames Trotting Club at Parawai to-day. There was a fair attendance and the track was in good order. The principal event, the Thames Trotting Cup, went to the warm favourite, War Paint, who at her previous two starts won a double at the Auckland meeting. Young Rodney was successful in both trotting events, on the first occasion returning over a score. The Kopu Handicap went to Wee Machine, while Kenworthy returned to the winning list in the Puriri Handicap.
