MOUNT EDEN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
The Mount Eden Borough Council, met last evening, the Mayor, Mr. T. McNab presiding. '
Delegates Appointed.—The Mayor, and Messrs. R. Mills and K. N. ..Buttle -were appointed the .council's delegates to tho conference called by the Mayor of Auckland, Mr. Ernest Davis, to consider the commemoration of Auckland's centenarv in 1940. . y
Donation. —The council made a grant-of £3 towards the funeral expenses of one.'of the borough's relief workers who dropped dead recently when returning home from a football match.
Dressing Accommodation.—A committee comprising . Messrs. Johns,.' Chappell and Turner was set up to go into, the question of providing additional dressing accommodation at Nicholson Park for tennis players, the committee to. report to the next meeting-of the-council.
