COLLISION WITH LORRY.

TAUMARUNUI, this day.

A boy named Leslie Styles, aged 16, met with a serious accident yesterday afternoon in the main He was returning to work on a bicycle and collided with a large motor lorry driven by A. J. Taylor, of Ongarue. He was unconscious when picked up and was later removed to hospital, where it was found that lie was suffering from a fractured skull. An operation was performed last night, and this morning the injured lad was making a good recovery.
