LIGHT CRIMINAL LIST.
ONLY ONE CASE FOR TRIAL. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Only three cases were presented for trial at the criminal sessions which commenced before Mr. Justice Northcroft to-day. True bills were returned in all three cases, and later Hugh Francis Haughty, charged with theft and receiving stolen money, and Gilbert Eldred, |on two charges of indecent assault, pleaded guilty. The hearing of the ■ remaining case, a charge of robbery | with violence against John Robert Annstrong, was postponed till to-morrow.
