DANGEROUS DRIVING.
At the Otaliuhu Magistrate's Court yesterday, when Mr. W. E. McKean presided, Arthur T. Newdick pleaded guilty to a charge of dangerous driving.
Evidence was given that defendant drove his car along the Croat South Roud at a "terrific speed" about 1 a.m. on September 8, that he crashed into two lieifera wandering on the load, breaking their legs, and that he left the animals lying on the road. Defendant was fined £5 and costs, 16/.
