CAR'S PLUNGE OVER BANK.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLING TOST, Monday. Two women were fortunate to escape serious injury when their motor cai plunged 25ft down a bank at Upper Nairn Street, Wellington, this afternoon. The car swerved off the road, toppled over the bank, which rises steeply from the gully at that point, and, rolling over twice, came to rest wedged against a large tree. The driver, Miss Noel Anderson, escaped with shock, and her mother, the other occupant of the car, receh ed nn injury to an arm. The body of the (: v was badly crushed.
