An enjoyable bridge and 500 evening was arranged recently by Mesdames G. Brown and W. Crump to raise funds for the Post and Telegraph Women's League. Prizes for 500 were won by Mrs. F. Lawrence, Mrs. Shraft, Mrs. Williams, Mrs. J. Boddy and Mr. Oldham. Mrs. G. Cory, Mrs. Mann, Mr. Lane and Mr. Gilford were the winners of the bridge. A handsome cushion cover was won by Mrs. Floyde. Among those present were: Mesdames Ryalls, Chatteris, Boddy, Lawrence, J. Brown, Masefield, D. McCullough, Ross, J. Pearce, Lane, Richards, Williams, Doherty, Cundall, Oldham, Shraft, Mann, Rowe, Green, Wynn, Walsh, Floyde, Cory, Devon, Misses Dale, Darling, Young and Walsh.
