NEW WOMEN'S CLUB
At the weekly luncheon talk Mr. T. B. Slipper gave an address on "How the will of the people does not become law."
The afternoon meeting was crowded with club members, when Mrs. C. Smith, of Morrinsville, spoke on social credit, and Mrs. Milne spoke on "Women in and out of politics," and traced the progress of women since they secured the suffrage. The hostesses for the afternoon were Mesdames W. H. Hurley and G. Cain.
