PETER PAN CABARET.
To mark the final appearance of the Peter Pan Band prior to its departure for Wellington for the Majestic Lounge, there was a crowded attendance of dancers at the cabaret on Saturday night to farewell the popular members. The latest dance melodies were interspersed with old favourites and the band was enthusiastically applauded, encores being insistently demanded. Among those present were: Mrs. T. H. E. Oakes, who wore sapphire blue ring velvet; Mrs. F. Palmer, in flame coloured crepe faille; Mrs. Stanley Parker, ivory souplo satin; Mrs. W. Taylor, floral georgette flecked with gold; Mrs. G. Kirkpatrick, dawn pink charmeuse with touches of diamante; Mrs. Neville, blue Mechlin lace; Mrs. E. Dalton, autumn toned taffeta and gold; Mrs. L. Eccles, jade green faille; Mrs. V. W. Morley, who was celebrating her silver wedding with a party of guests, wore black ring velvet and lace, with touches of diamante; Mrs. Donald, black and gold; Mrs. F. Taine, black crepe suede bordered with grey fur; Mrs. J. Madden, Marina blue lace; Miss F. McLennan, ashes of rose pink crepe suede; Miss Ella Anderson, silver traced crepe de soie; Miss Ailsa Craig, cameo pink; Miss O. Cuthbertson, brown ring velvet with ivory corsage; Miss B. Jones, lacquer red chiffon; Miss B. Ryan, white and blue pin spot muslin; Miss Elsie Tattley, russet brown souple satin; Miss P. Patten, black phantom crepe with white organdie flared frills; Miss Eileen Wilson, silver lame with scarlet tunic; Miss P. Wilson, black and gold lame; Miss Rona Stevenson, checked taffeta; Miss Avis Hedgeman, almond gre'en lace; Miss Winifred Alexander, navy cellophane with sequinned coatee; Miss Alison, mist blue crepe de soie; Miss Vera Ramsay, cameo pink marocain; Miss Doreen Griffiths, black satin and diamante; Miss Agnes Wilson, eau de nil beaded lace; Miss D. Anderson, black and rose floral georgette; Miss P. Connor, lotus blue georgette; Miss G. Atkins, primrose checked taffeta; Miss Free, white moire.
