Sarazen defeated George Crist 4 and 3, Runyan defeated Louis Cniapetta 5 and 4, Dutra defeated Gordon Brunton 6 and 5, Smith defeated Picard 1 up, Shute defeated Sterling Salines 4 and 3.
In the second round Alvin Krueger eliminated Sarazen 2 and 1, Runyan defeated Dutra 3 and 2, Revolta defeated Ulnes 1 up, Parks defeated Franele Schelder 1 up, Smith defeated Ray Mangrum 1 up, Denny Shute defeated Henry Bontempo 4 and 3, Laffoon defeated Eddie Looe 1 up.
