PROPOSED DENTAL BILL SOME PROVISIONS ELIMINATED. (By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. .Among the proposed bills which will fail to reach • the Statute Book this session is the Dental Bill, which the Minister of Health, Sir Alexander Young, hopes to introduce this week.
The Minister said to-day that he had been assured that the legislation had been asked for by over 90 per cent of the practising dentists of the Dominion. The new bill would be referred to the Public Health Committee for consideration, and would have no chance- of being passed this session. It was indicated by the Minister that he had eliminated eome of the provisions relating to advertising, to which objection had been 'iaken when a similar bill was introduced by Mr. A. J. Stallworthy (Democrat, Eden) some years ago when he was Minister of Health.
