PRESENTATIONS.

HOSPITAL FUNCTION. The gift of a silver tea arid coffee service was made by Mr. William Wallace, chairman of the Auckland Hospital Board, yesterday afternoon, at the nurses' home; to Miss A. G. Blewett, second assistant to the lady superintendent at the hospital, who is leaving to become lady superintendent at the Auckland Infirmary. Mr. Wallace made reference to Miss Blewett's services to the hospital and said that the staff would be sorry to see her go. She had been 17 years with the hospital, and in that time she had won the esteem of all. The presentation was made on behalf of the nursing and the domestic stalls, who also combined to give a mirror.
