MILK FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN.

I note that the children are to pet their tuilk, but only up to the fourth standard. I would like to know who is responsible fjr this decision and the reason. Surely it is not because milk will not be good for tho children over the fourth standard, or is it economy? If so, I think it is the most niggardly decision ever arrived at, because the extra co-'t would be very little. Many children carry their lunch to school, the distance being too far to allow them to go home for lunch, and from early morn till 5 or (i p.m. is too !on<r to bo without some liquid, therefore a drink of milk is a necessity. T. trust the teachers and headmasters will raise their voice so thai all the [children will get their milk. I DOX'T 1510 NIGGARDLY.
