ENJOYABLE DANCE.
FUNCTION AT DRUIDS' HALL. A dance was held last evening at the Druids' Hall, Newton, by the Auckland Council against War and Fascism. Music was supplied by Adams' band and a large number of dancers attended. Members of the committee present were: Mrs. Rayner, wearing a frock of wine crepe faille and silver; Miss Simpson, jade satin beaute; Mrs. L. Wrathall, old gold crepe. Also present were: Mrs. Nicholson, old gold talleta; Mrs. Parkes, mulberry crinkle crepe; Mrs. Atkins, powder blue marocain; Mrs. Edwards, figured crepe de chine; Mrs. Stevenson, cerise crepe faille; Mrs. Steven, saxe blue marocain; Mrs. Donald, pink voile; Mrs. Hackett, black satin beaute; Mrs. Quickford, apricot satin; Mrs. Norrisli, apple green marocain; Mrs. Hewitt, black lace and ring velvet; Mrs. D. Bowen, cerise satin; Mrs. Bazley, pink satin; Mrs. G. Green, black satin; Mrs. Colman, wine satin; Mrs. Sliean, black satin; Mrs. Martinovich, blue georgette; Mrs. Melville, black satin; Mrs. Gillie, ciel blue lace; Miss Shepherd, siver lame; Miss Mason, red taffeta; Miss Pvke, green taffeta; Miss Stone, green floral ninon; Miss Townsend, royal blue satin; Miss Howard., floral tafTeta; Miss McCavcry, red satin; Miss Irving, rose angel skin; Miss McI/can, black and silver marocain; Miss Bartley, red marocain; Miss Edwards, blue dimity; Miss Gibbon, rose marocain; Miss Norrish, eggshell blue marocain; Miss B.
