The financial success of the All Blacks' tour of Great Britain is assured as there are heavy bookings for the visitors' matches in every centre. A torn muscle is still proving troublesome to J. R. Page, the fivc-eightli, and he will probably not be available for another fortnight. A number of the players are suffering from colds and they are finding it difficult to shake them off. The team was entertained in splendid style at Liverpool. The All Blacks' team for Wednesday's match at Gosforth will be as follows: — Full-back: D. Solomon. Three-quarters: 11. M. Brown, C. J. Oliver, N. Ball. Five-eighths: T. H. C. Caughey, J. L. Griffiths. Half-back: M. M. N. Corner. Forwards: C. Pepper, A. Lainbourn, J. Hore, H. F. McLean, W. M. Collins, R. M. McKenzie, S. T. Keid, J. G. Wynyard. The Northumberland and Durham team is as follows: — Full-back: Blanch. Three-quarters: Harison, Bailey, Bland, Oldroyd. . Half-backs: J. 11. McLaren, Goldson. Forwards: Smith, Suddes, Roddham, Spence, Paulan, Nicholson, A. McLaren, Hodgson. GILBERT RESTING. Manager Concentrating on Team Building. PREPARING FOR THE TESTS. (Received 12.30 p.m.) LONDON, October 7. Mr. V. R. Meredith, the manager of the All Blacks, is resting the full-back, G. Gilbert, owing to a bruised leg, as, now that the team has once been defeated, he is not worrying about minor games but is concentrating on building up a team for the international fixtures.
