CORRECT IDLING.
The motorist should realise that an incorrect idling adjustment of the carburettor tends to waste fuel. Many times when the idling adjustment is so low as to permit the engine to stall when the accelerator i* released, the driver makes compensation by setting the hand throttle. Usually this compensation is overdone, wii.li the result that the engine idles too fast and consumes an excessive amount of petrol.
