CLEVEDON NEWS.
The captain, Mr. A. Atchison, presided over the annual meeting of the Clevedon Cricket Club. The balance-sheet showed a good financial position, although there was li debit on the year's working. The following officers were elected:—Patron, Mr. J. Luke: president, Mr. C. C. Munro; vicepresidents. Messrs. J. Colqulioun, \V. T. Dudcr and Dr. H. H. Clieeseman ; captain, Mr. C. F. Dudcr: vice-captain, Mr. A. Nicholson ; committee, Messrs. It. Dow, A. Atchison, F. Atchison, P. Waters, H. Halliwell and J. Fogart.v; selectors, Messrs. C. F. Dudcr and Nicholson ; delegates to the Manukau Association. Messrs. It. Dow and F. Atchison ; auditor, Mr. D. M. Bryan ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. C. F. Duder. It was decided to hold the opening day Saturday next. The Anglican Ladies Guild held lis monthly card evening in (he Clevedon Hall. Prize winners were: —Bridge, Miss Waters and Mr Dawe: consolation, Mrs. Bannerman and Mr. Richie: ","i00," Mrs. Luke and Mr. Rhodes; consolation, Miss Wallis and Mr. Rickey.
