LADIES' NIGHT.
TAMAKI ORPHANS' CLUB. The Tamaki Orphans' Club ladies' night was held in the Parish Hall, St. Helier's Bay, on Saturday. President Jock Reid was in tlie chair and Mrs. Keid and Mrs. Grant received the guests. An enjoyable programme was given by the following artists: The Tamaki Symphony Orchestra, Messrs. R. Warbrick, B. Stark, R. Grace, R. Harris, F. Poore, L. Elliott, Stuart Harvey, Nortliover and King and the Balmoral quartet. The president, Mr. Reid, welcomed the guests, President Bray, of the Onehunga Orphans' Club, proposed the toast of the ladies and Brother Francis responded on behalf of the ladies. The supper tables were beautifully arranged with Iceland poppies and anemones.
