TWO MEN REMANDED.

ALLEGED THEFT OF TYRES. Two men, George Edward Cox (27), labourer, and Alfred Burgess (23), a butcher, were each charged, in the Police Court to-day, with stealing, on September 20. four tyres, tubes and rims valued at £5, the property of Frederick Akerston. On the application of Mr. Aekins, who appeared for them, the accused were remanded until next Saturday. In each case bail was allowed.
