PROFESSIONAL BOXING.
MONDAY’S FINE PROGRAMME. Twelve rounds of thrilling fighting me, expected to be seen in the professional | welter-weight boxing contest which the Auckland Boxing Association will stage at the Town Holl on Monday evening Ihe principals, Mark Candy and Watty, R bortson. are both hard fighters, v.ho; relish toe-to-tao fighting in the .effort to win quickly, and with men oi this calibre engaged there should be a series of tin 11ling exchanges that will delight thespectators. Many thril nig bouts have been staged in Auckland, and it is expected that Monday’s bout wi 1 be up to the standard of the terrific battles between I Laehie McDonald and Tommy Mclnnes some years rgo. If expectations ej realised, and there seems little chance of disappointment, a great bout will be and those who love a fight will be advised , to attend.
