NORTHCOTE BENEFIT.
CRIPPLED CHILDREN'S FUND.
The King's Theatre at Northcote was fdled last evening by a most appreciative audience on the occasion of the presentation by the Arcadian Dramatic Club of the three-act satirical comedy "What's in a Name?" which was staged in aid of the crippled children's fund. The performance was greatly enjoyed by the large gathering. The producer was Mr. Campbell Laurie. The parts were taken by Misses Doreen Sliarpe, Clarice Sharpe, Winifred Johnson, Morag McLean, Messrs. Will Nicholson, Alieter Gilfillan, Dan Daniel, Harry Burton and Jim Hutchinson. Songs were given by Mr. Laurie Stewart, the accompaniments being played by Miss I. Stewart. The Mayors of Northcote and Birkenhead, Messrs. R. Martin and G. Mills, conveyed thanks for the splendid effort of the club and performers for this deserving cause, and to the patrons for the support accorded.
