Bidding was particularly keen throughout tlia salo and a fine steer from Mr. H. E Reed, Waerenga, realised £10 15/, jy' being the highest price paid for a' steer for the last two seasons. Auctioneers are still inclined to differ in their quotations for ox lieef, but the sale generally showed an increase of 10/ not. head on cattle. 1 Competition was steady for cows and heifers and this section showed an increase on lato rates. Sheep wera more plentiful than last week, but tho yarding did not include many spriim lambs. 1 8
