HORSES' RIPE OLD AGE.
RECORDS OF ASSOCIATION. (Received 9.30 a.m.) LONDON, September 24. The secretary of the National Horse Association says it has been testified beyond doubt that a plough horse in the Manchester district a century ago lived to the age of 62. An Australian horse named Parramatta died in 1874, aged 53.
