Because Dr. Hewlett Johnson, Dean of Canterbury, lias "apparently identified himself with a political party," Dr. Ralph Sherman, Anglican Bishop of Calgary refused to be chairman of his Social Credit meeting on Saturday.

In the course of tin interview at Winnipeg yesterday, the Dean saitl lie was in complete accord with Mr. William Aberliart's policies and predicted that the State Premier's party would eventually sweep all Canada. Mr. Aberliart announces an issue of an unspecified amount of "prosperity bonds" at an unspecified interest rate, to be sold to Albertans to pay off outside bonds and debts.
