RIFLE ASSOCIATION.
At the annual general meeting of the Auckland Rifle Association, held in the Rutland Street Drill Hall, Captain H. Simmonds presided over a small attendance of local riflemen.
The president's report showed that the association had had a very successful year, and that the club's finances were in a very satisfactory position.
It was resolved to hold the annual prize meeting for the 1935-30 season on Anniversary Day. January 29, 1936, and that the ranges shot over be 300, 500, GOO, 800 and 900 yards.
The following officers were elected:— President, Captain 11. Simmonds; committee, Messrs. J. DrafHn, E. Boston, R. Wakefield, T. Bevan, A. Harris, M. Milligan, H. Collingwood and F. Bowes and all country club presidents (ex-officio to the executive); secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. M. Jessop; auditor, Mr. J. Draffin; delegate to military meeting, Mr. C. J. M. Clark.
