Missing his footing and slipping 600 feet down the surface of an ice-capped peak, Mr. J. Urquhart, who, with Messrs. R. Webb and A. Coles, was on a trip in the Tararuas, had a fortunate escape from serious injury. The accident occured on the summit of Mount Dundas. When his companions reached him Mr. Urquhart was found suffering from abrasions to his hands, a sprained ankle and severe shock. He was later brought in to j Levin. I
