CLAUDELANDS SHOWGROUNDS

HAMILTON", Tuesday. At, a meeting of the executive of the Waikato Agricultural and Pastoral Association an agreement to lease to the Auckland Provincial Polo Association th? area of land inside the trotting course at the show grounds at ClaudelancU was confirmed. The details of tho lease had been previously agreed to at a conference of representatives of the association, the Trotting Club and the Polo Association. It was decided to give the Polo Association the full use of the ground for 10 years and to review the question of rent at the expiration of that period, the lease to run for a term of 21 years. It was also decided to cancel the existing lease held by the Trotting Club, which has 8| years to run, and to issue a new lease of 21 years.

Permission to erect a small hall on the show grounds was granted to the First Claudelands Boy Scout Group.
