ROAD DEATH TOLL.
SMALL DECREASE IN BRITAIN.
LONDON; September 20,
In spito of the imposition of the speed limit in built-up areas and the wide safety propaganda aimed at motorists and pedestrians 4441 people were killed and 155,025 were injured in road accidents in Britain this year.
During the week ended September 14 153 peoplo were killed and 4911 injured, compared with 159 killed and 5555 injured- in the corresponding week of last year.
