Peace Reigns Once More In Budgetland.

PETER PAN AND WENDY ARE FRIENDS AGAIN. Dear Budget Folk, — Well, judging from letters which have wended their Way to Budgetland this past week >' would seem our spring page Was a great success. Yes "ours" it is-. Freely I admit it. Not for one little moment do I doubt that inspiration came to Wendy on the gently lapping Waters of the Waitemata. Likewise Wendy acknowledges freely the fact that on that spring morning I wrote of last week the idea of our special page first burst upon me. In point of fact, after some little discussion on the matter, we have decided that both of us thought of the idea at the self-same simultaneous moment. "Great," I hear our Budget friends chuckling, "Wendy and Peter Pan are friends again—lets celebrate. Well, so We have, and in another part of the Budget you will read — all about our special new prize scheme. I feel this is going to be tremendously popular with our young readers, but whether you like it or not I want you to be sure and write me your views on the mailer. Well, cheerio to you all

CLUB CAPTAIN.
