MOTOR CAB LICENSES.

LIMITED TO 265 IN CITY. On the recommendation of the legal and by-laws committee the City Council last liight decided upon certain alterations to the by-laws as affecting taxi cab licenses. The new by-laws when amended will limit the issuo of motor cab licences to 265, the faro for one to four passengers within a radius of five miles from the G.F.O. will be 1/ for t.iie first mile and fid for each additional mile or portion thereof, the exact faro payable to be shown on the meter, and the fare by time will bo 10/ per hour, with a. minimum charge of 10/.
