AUCKLAND CLUB.
The annual general meeting o£ tlie Auckland Lawn Tennis Club was held on Thursday, Mr. W. 12. lloldgate presiding over a large attendance of members. The annual report and balance-sheet showed that the past season had been very successful. The following officers were elcctcd: — President, Mr. W. IS. Holdgate; vicepresidents, Mr. Ernest Davis, Mr. R. S. Bent, Mr. A. K. Hosking, Mr. F. N. Ambler. Mr. A. T. Coppard; lion, secretary, Mr. .T. A. Fernandez; hon. treasurer, Mr. A. Biggs; hon. auditor, Mr. A. Simmons; delegates to Auckland Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. J. A. Fernandez and A. B. Crouch; committee, Messrs. It. S Burt, H. B. Seymour, A. Satchel!, A. B. Crouch, P. Allardyce; ladies' committee, Misses S. Whlttaker, H. Bathgate, F. O'Meara, R. James, C. Ellis, Mesdames Israel and Biggs; ground superintendent, Mr. J. A. Fernandez. The following trophies won during the season were presented :—Ladies' championship singles, Miss R. James; men's championship singles, L. G. Whittaker; ladies' championship doubles, Miss R. James and Mrs. Biggs; men's championship doubles, L. G. Whittaker and R. S. Burt; ladies' handicap singles, Miss M. McLennan ; men's handicap singles, A. B. Crouch; men's handicap doubles, J. D. j Prime and J. L. Johnston; ladies' handicap doubles. Miss S. Whittaker and Miss H. Bathgate; mixed handicap doubles, Miss H. Bathgate and L. G. Whittaker. The cup presented by Mr. A. R. Hosking for the winner of the men's championship singles was won by L. G. Whittaker. Two cups presented by Mr. R. S. Burt for the two most improved players were awarded to A. B. Crouch and Owen Satchell.
N.Z. CHAMPIONSHIPS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. The management committee of the New ZealaDd Lawn Tennis Association has decided to hold the Dominion championships in Wellington on Decembeer 30 to January 4, Inclusive.
