ANNUAL BALL.
OTAHUHU TENNIS CLUB. The annual ball of the Otn.huhu Tennis Club was held in the Otaliuliu Public Hall 011 Wednesday, and was an exceedingly enjoyable function. Mr. R. L. Brown, vice-president of the club, in the unavoidable absence of the president, Mr. Arkinstall, welcomed the 200 odd guests, and also presented the trophies won during the season's play. The Mayor, Mr. C. R. Petrie, congratulated the committee and members of the Tennis Club 011 their successful evening. The duties of masters of ceremonies were carried out by Mr. R. L. Brown and Mr. A. A. Tetley. The music was played by A 1 Clarke's Orchestra, and Mr. Les Lee played an extra. The supper arrangements were in the capable hands of the following committee members: Mrs. G. Todd, Mrs. R. Whale and the Misses T. Kitto, Mary Nobbs, E. Whiteley, Norma Walters and E. Judson.
