STAFF DANCE.

J. R. McKENZIE, LIMITED

Originality was the keynote of the ■decorative scheme at. the Peter Pan Cabaret last evening, when the staff of J. R. McKenzie, Limited, entertained their friends at a successful fifth annual ball. There were about 250 couples present. Under the subdued lighting the "'McKenzie Laurel Wreath, ,, festooned with a scintillating name of each branch store throughout the country, ivas a feature that called for admiring comment. Daffodils and red anemones made the supper tables gay. During the evening a demonstration of the tango and rumba was given by Miss Margaret O'Connor and" Mr. Priestley and was enthusiastically applauded, Miss O'Connor being presented with a beautiful floral bouquet.

Members of the committee responsible for the success of the function were Messrs. H. Morrison. W. Gibson, Mesdames Eicnardson, McCullagh, Misses Cory. Gabriel. Stone, Drummond, Morlev and Carroll.
