Canada "Corners" the World's Supplies. COSTLIER LOAF IN BRITAIN. (Received 12 noon.) LONDON, September 9. Wheat scored a fresh rise in Liverpool, making a 2}d increase since the Canadian Government's new fixed price of 87i cents, which is ahead of expectations. London millers have increased flour by 1/ to £1 8/ for 2801b. It is possible that bakers will shortly increase the 41b loaf by a id to Bd. "Tho Times" city editor says the Canadian authorities have certainly taken account of conditions throughout the world. Australia now has comparatively littlo remaining from her last crop. Tho prospects of the new crop arc. comparable with the last. Tho large stocks of the world, on a broad, survey, remain in Canada, to which importing countries are likely to look during the present cereal year for rather more, than half their supplies.
