TRIALS AT ELLERSLIE. THIS MORNING'S WORK. After heavy rain yesterday and overnight the weather cleared before work commenced at Ellerslio this morning. However, a cold wind made matters rather unpleasant. No. 1 grass track, on which the poles were out 10ft, was available for fast work, but the going was on the heavy 5 side.

Rerepai and Zane Grey traversed four furlongs in 54 1-5.5, while Kelly was not doing Jiis best to complete the last six furlongs of his work in 1.22.
