ODDFELLOWS' NIGHT.
A dance was given on Thursday evening in the Manchester Unity Hall by the officers and members of the Loyal Parnell Lodge, No. 4750, M.U.1.0.0.F., to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the lodge. The floor arrangements were in. the hands of Bros. A. C. S. MacMillan, D. Parsons, J. Gedye and F. L. Batty. Novelty dances were held and the winners were: Mr. E. R. Collett and Miss C. Eagcrley, Mr. E. W. Christianson and Mrs. Postl'ewaite, Mr. Morley and Mrs. A. C. S. MacMillan. An exhibition of the tango, rumba and quick-step was given by Mi - . Piendergast and Mies Avis Hedgeman. The music provided by Connon's orchestra was ideal for dancing, and this contributed in a large measure to make the evening a huge success. Extras were played by Sister V. Francis and Bro. R. H. Edser. Among those present were: Mrs. W. MacMillan, wearing black marocain; Mrs. E. A. Kay, Lido blue silk crepe; Mrs. W. Speight, violet satin beaute; Mrs. MacDougall, black georgette and lace; Mrs. Austin, Nile green crepp de chine; Mrs. Cunningham, black silk crepe and silver lame; Mrs. J. Kay, ivory spot satin; Mrs. Stubbing, pink satin beaute; Mrs. H. M. Wheaton, cream satin beaute; Mrs. T. White, blue windswept satin; Mrs. W. Mace, ivory lace; Miss G. Tetley, daffodil marocain; Miss V. Francis, shell pink georgette; Miss K. Jacobsen, black wihdsVept satin; Miss- A. Jacobsen, black taffeta; Miss A. Malloy, blue silk marocain; Miss N. Robertson, blue crepe de chine and georgette; Miss G. Robertson, ivory georgette; Miss O. Perkins, emerald green lace; Miss W. Carr, Nile crepe eapri; Miss N. Farquhar, shell pink lace; Miss M.
