farewell concert to-night. Aline Muriel Brunskill will give her final Auckland concert in the Town Hall this evening. With her Kew Zealand season limited strictly to five weeks, Mme Brunskill will be heard at her best in the Town Hall. She has a dramatic and even opulent contralto voice. Mmc. Brunskill will be heard to advantage in the splendid programme drawn up for to-night's recital. Mme Brunskill will include among her numbers "The Erl King'' (Schubert) "The Blacksmith" and May Night" f Brahms), three of Brahms' "Gipsy Songs" "Wasserflut" and Gretchen am Sninnrade" (Schubert), three of Techa!kowskv's loveliest songs. A Legend,'" "None But the Weary Heart" and "To tho Forest," and two operatic arias, ''Lasciatenii Morire" and "Che Faro." The encores will include such 0 M favourite numbers as "Three Fishers," Mr. Carl Bartling, the Melbourne pianist, will play several Chopin raises. The new heating apparatus first used for the Menuhin concerts will be employed on this occasion.
