WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY AND PROVINCE. Tin; Government Meteorologist issued to tho "Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland Province to us far south as Tauranga, Kawhia and Hamilton : — Moderate to strong south-east to south winds of gale force in some exposed positions} weather cold and cloudy, with scattered rains; seas rnugh on East Coast, moderate on West Coaet. Pressure ifl still high over the Dominion and low to the northwards. HAURAKI GTJXF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the llauraki Gulf was received, from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, east-south-east, moderate; sea moderate; weather line, with scattered clouds; visibility good;- barometer steady.
