NEW OFFICERS ELECTED. (By Telegrnph.—Own Correspondent.) WELLINGTON, this <lav. At the Counties" Association Conference to-day officers were elected as follow: —President, Mr. C. J. Talbot (Fairlie); vice-presidents, Messrs. J. Ritchie (Bannockbnrn), W. Morrison (Maxwell); executive committee, Messrs. J. W. Anderson (Tirau), W. G. Helton (Waverley), K. W. Dairymplc (Bulls), G. A. Monk (Reikorangi), \V. Marshall (Paeroa), C. Matthews (Gisborne), W. Tucker (Wliakatu), M. Bethell (Amuri), F. R. Flatnian (Geraldinc), W. M. Norman (Southland). P. F. Rvan (Paparua), Hon. W. H. Mc In tyre, M.L.C. (Millerton). Mr. G. A. Monk was elected auditor. Appreciation of the services rendered by Mr. .lull to the association and to local body government fjenerally was expressed by the presentation of a handsome silver salver. At the wish of Mr. •lull a map of New Zealand, showing the boundaries of the 123 counties, will be engraved upon the salver., A resolution was carried placing on record the association's sense of Mr. Jull's valuable services to the association.
