QUESTION OF PRICE.
SHOR.TLAND STREET SITE. "Negotiations have been tedious and frequent, and the only question now to be settled is that of price," reported the Mayor, Mr. Ernest Davis, to the City Council last evening. Mr. Davis referred to the negotiations with the Minister of Public Works for the acquisition by tire City Council of a portion of the Shortland Street Post Office site for street purposes.
