PROPOSALS FOR ALSATIANS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Thursday. The Dominion executive of the NewZealand Farmers' Union gave its support at a meeting to-day to the proposal of the Counties' Association to have a minimum registration fee of £3 placed ou Alsatian dogs. A remit was also passed in favour of an amendment of the Dog Registration Act to provide an insurance scheme by a levy on the registration of all dogs to indemnify stock owners whoso stock are injured or destroyed by dogs.
