BAIL NOT DESIRED.
ENTERTAINER'S ARREST. REMAND ON BURGLARY CHARGE. Described as an entertainer and hypnotist, Charles Richard George Ross, aged 35, appeared before Mr. Wyvern Wilson, S.M., in the Police Court this morning. Ross was charged with breaking and entering the shop of Robert Graham at Auckland on July 23 and stealing 10 motor car tyres and two motor truck tyres, of a total value of £05 1(5/0. Ross was further ehnrged with making a default of a maintenance order, the arrears of which amounted to £97 up to May 17 last. Senior Detective Hall obtained a remand on the first charge until September 5. Mr. Coates, appearing for accused, said Ros6 did not desire bail. On the maintenance Charge Ross was remanded to appear in a month's time.
