GOVERNMENT CANDIDATE. MR. E. D. STALLWORTHY SELECTED Mr. E. D. Stallworthy has been selected as the Government candidate to contest the Auckland City West scat, which is at present held by Mr. M. J. Savage. Leader of the Opposition. Mr. Stallworthy is a younger brother of Mr. A. J. Stallworthy, M.P. for Eden, and a son of the late" Mr. John Stallworthy, who held the Kaipara seat until succeeded by Mr. Coates.
