LADIES' ASSOCIATION. "POPULAR GIIU," COMPETITION. In the Auckland Association's popular girl competition Ina Douglas (St. David's) Rained top place and Heather Price (Mount Eden) second. It has been decided not to postpone Interclub contests during the absence of the provincial (cam at the New Zealand tourney, which commences at Gisbornc on Friday. The Auckland representative team Is to visit Tarannki on September 21, hut an invitation (o play at Tauinaruiiui on September 22 was declined.
